Polo School Board update
The board approved Program Reviews for Facilities and Safety, School Climate, Curriculum/Instruction, Community Education and Differentiated Instruction.
Board members were recognized for their service with certificates in honor of school board appreciation week that is January 24-30.
The February board meeting was re-scheduled for Wednesday, February 17 due to conflicts on the third Monday.
Budget update was given to the board.
School enrollment is up compared to last year with 440 students enrolled in grades K-12.
An update was given to the board on GRC Conference and new bylaws.
The 2016-17 calendar was approved.
In closed session, Superintendent Don Wilburn had his contract extended through the 2018-19 school year with salary to be determined yearly.
