Two injured in serious accident

An accident left two women injured after a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant driven by Aushalique Wilson, 22, of Hannibal, traveled off the north side of Highway 36, struck some small trees and an embankment, coming to rest on its wheels facing northwest. A passenger in the vehicle, 29 year old Ashley Ashby, also of Hannibal, sustained serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center and later flown by Life Flight Eagle to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City. Wilson sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
