Alexis “Lexi” Potts

Alexis “Lexi” Marie Potts, age 17, of Hamilton, MO, passed away on Nov. 17, 2019, in Hamilton.

Lexi was born on May 14, 2002, in North Kansas City, to Michael Potts and Amanda Rogers. She was currently a senior student at Penney High School in Hamilton. Lexi also worked part-time at the Missouri Star Quilt Company in Hamilton as a fabric cutter.

Lexi’s loves were softball and choir. She played school and competitive softball for many years and had verbally committed to playing softball for Maple Woods Community College next fall. She also had been All-State in choir competition. Lexi was active in the Penney High School Book Club, and a member of the National Honor Society and Academic Society. She was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Michelle Potts.

Survivors include her parents, Mike Potts and Amanda Rogers, of the home; sister, Isabelle; brother, Landon; grandparents, Ike and Donna Marcott of Hamilton and David and Barbara Rogers of Gallatin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 22, at the Hamilton United Methodist Church in Hamilton, in the Family Life Center at 10:00 a.m. A visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21, at the Hamilton United Methodist Church Family Life Center from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
