Anita Rose Keller
Anita Rose Keller, age 80, of Breckenridge, MO, passed away at her home on March 9, 2019. Anita previously lived in Alamogordo, NM, before moving to Breckenridge in 2007. Anita was a homemaker.
Anita was born on Feb. 18, 1939, in Missoula, MT, to Clarence Alfred and Marie Asenith (Baunton) Newton. She married her husband, James “Jim” R. Keller in 1963 in Missoula, and he preceded her in death in 2005.
She was also preceded by her parents, and her sister, Lillian.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Breckenridge and a lifelong member of The Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, hunting and fishing, and sewing, as well as being with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Shelly Keller-Willig (Randy) of Dexter, NM and Karri Curnow (Richard) of Breckenridge; four grandchildren, Shannon Booth (Bobby Hull) and James “Bo” Booth (Erika), both of Clarinda, IA, Cory Booth (Shaelee) of Breckenridge, and Sarah Willig of Dexter, NM; seven grand-children, Cory, Keller, Kennedy, Kelsey, Serenity, Sawyer, and Liam; brother, Clarence Newton; sisters, Virginia Hamilton, Vi Boots, and Mary Shelton; and her sisters-in-law and their families in Iowa.
Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. There will be no formal services, which was Anita’s request, and a family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. www.bramfuneralservices.com
