Bettina Oma Davis

Bettina (Oma) Davis, age 80, of Hamilton, MO, passed away at the Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron on Feb. 21, 2016. She had previously lived in West Haven, FL and Kerhonkson, NY.

Bettina was born on Dec. 1, 1935, in Rothenbach, Germany, to Alois and Sabina (Fuchs) Pflamminger. She attended school in Germany and she had worked in the past at the Rondout Valley School and the Schrade Knife Factory.

Bettina was of the Christian faith and attended the Methodist Church, and while living in New York, she was active in the Girl Scouts and the Drum and Bugle Corps. She also volunteered for the Fire Department.

Bettina was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Thelma Rich; sister Louse Pflamminger; and son-in-law, Robert Wells.

Survivors include daughters, Florence (Randy) Sweem of Hamilton and Elizabeth Wells of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Dawn Melton Schwartz, Tamara Melton, Charles J. Mohan, Krystal Wells, Rebecca Wells, Bryan Rich, and Mary Rich; and great-grandchildren, Taylor Schwartz, Madison Mohan, Kaelyn Mohan, Breahna Hernandez, Sophia Mohan, Rebecca Wells, Ashton Wells, Hailey Carmon, Brandon Lisenby, Andrew Rich, Bradon Rich, and Alexander Rich.

Cremation was entrusted to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hamilton United Methodist Church Construction Fund.
