Carson Clay Clevenger

Carson Clay Clevenger, age 3, a resident of Braymer, MO, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at his home.

Carson was born the son of Ryan and Jamie (Kissick) Clevenger on Aug. 2, 2013, in Kansas City. Carson was a miracle from God from the start. He loved life, loved people, loved to smile, loved to laugh, loved music and loved to dance. He was the happiest boy who never knew a stranger. He was a true blessing to everyone around him. He was definitely a character. Carson loved his family, friends, and his farming. He wanted to be a cow doctor when he grew up.

Carson was a member of the Braymer First Baptist Church, where he attended Marilyn and Rosie’s Nursery Class. Carson attended We Will Rock You Daycare in Chillicothe.

Survivors include his parents, Ryan and Jamie Clevenger of the home; big brother, Connor Ryan Clevenger of the home; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Suzann Clevenger of Braymer; maternal grandparents, Larry and Sherry Kissick of Bogardi; great grandparents, Carolyn Clevenger of Braymer, Donald and Norma Kissick of Chillicothe, and Barbara Corf of Bogard; aunt, Amanda (Clevenger) Sneed; uncle, Steve Clevenger; cousins, Kacie Jill Clevenger and unborn baby Sneed; many aunts and uncles, Tomme Sue Feil, Tom and Dede Smith, Scott Burns, Rusty and Heather Burns, David and Nancy Maasdam, Blake and Dianne McGrew, Ann and Chris Zummbrunnen, Mat and Martika Kissick, Robert and Calinda Corf, Richie and Brenda Corf, Gary and Cindy Kissick, Jerry and Bev Kissick, Kay Kissick, Regina and Norman Curnow, Tommy and Nancy Basham, Jana Burge, Kenneth Burns, Ted and Donna Corf, and Ann Ford; and numerous other cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Clay Dean Clevenger, Norman and Martha Burns, and Gerald Corf.

Funeral services will be held at the Braymer Baptist Church in Braymer, on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer on Friday, June 2, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, June 2, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Ryan and Jamie Clevenger, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. A contribution in Carson’s honor will be decided at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhomes.com.
