Charles "Charlie" E. Radabaugh

Charles "Charlie" E. Radabaugh, 93 of Hamilton, passed away on Jan. 22, 2022, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron.  Charlie lived in Daviess and Caldwell Counties most of his life.

Charlie was born on Oct. 18, 1928, to James E. and Jessie (Thompson) Radabaugh.  He was a graduate of the New York High School southeast of Hamilton.  He was a self-employed farmer and trucker.  

Charlie attended the Lake Viking Church, Gallatin, and also served as a member of the Sheridan Township Board in Daviess County.  He greatly enjoyed his job of trucking gravel and in his spare time he loved to read and liked to indulge in cheese. 

Preceding Charlie in death were his parents, his first wife-Georgia Ellen Radabaugh; and his son-Charles Eric Radabaugh.

On March 24, 1989, he married Mattie Marie Lunsford at the Free Methodist Church in Chillicothe.  She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; son-James (Diana) Radabaugh of Springfield; step-son-Danny VanHorn of Hamilton; grandchildren-Larissa (James) Unwin of Springfield, and their son, Daxton; Dalena (Devon) Schneider of Bettendorf, IA, and their sons, Quentin and Calvin; Kimberli VanHorn of Clinton; Shelby VanHorn,  of St. Joseph; Haley VanHorn of Hamilton; and Jase VanHorn of Bethany.    

Celebration of Life Service:  Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022, at 2 p.m., at the Lake Viking Church in Gallatin. There is no formal, scheduled visitation.

Interment is at Christian Cemetery in Dawn.

Memorials can be made to The Lake Viking Church in Gallatin. 

Arrangements under the direction of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
