Christine A. Edwards

Christine A. Edwards, age 99, of Savannah, formerly of Cameron, passed away on July 13, 2018.

Christine was born on Oct. 24, 1918, to George and Lizzie (Souders) Adkison.

Christine was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Edwards; son, Larry Edwards; son-in-law, Charles Farr; five brothers, Kenneth, Don, Loren, Robert and Claude; and two sisters, Helen Kennedy and Thelma Corbett.

Survivors include her daughter, Yvonne Farr of Stewartsville; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Ruth Irvin of Platte City. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home in Cameron. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., prior to the service. Burial will take place at Cameron Memory Gardens in Cameron. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Cameron. Online condolences may be left at www.polandthompson.com.
