Daniel Ervin Walker
Daniel Ervin Walker, age 72, passed away on April 11, 2018, at his home surrounded by his family.
Dan was born on May 21, 1945, in Birmingham, AL, to Ervin Lee and Flora Eloise (Garner) Walker. They preceded him in death.
Daniel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and he had a strong testimony to his Savior Jesus Christ. He was a master electrician, before retiring.
On June 4, 1965, Dan married Faye Smith in Memphis, TN.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Faye, of the home; 5 sons, Brett (Heather) Walker of Pleasant Valley, Bart (Lisa) Walker of Holt, Brian (Brandi) Walker of Cameron, and Brannon Walker and William (Kyrie) Walker, both of Kansas City; seven daughters, Sherrye (Chris) Meador of Kearney, Shena’ (Lantz) Allen of West Jordon, UT, Sarah Walker of Pleasant Valley; Suzanne (Mike) Fitzwater of Knob Noster, Stephanie (Erick) Sohm of Kearney, Samantha Walker of Cameron, and Stacey (Mike) Erwin if Kingston; 46 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin (Marty) Walker of Samantha, AL; two sisters, Joyce Alexander of Olive Branch, MS and Gail (Johnny) Jackson of Coker, AL; and 14 nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cameron. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton. Online condolences may be left at www.polandthompson.com.
