Danny Paul Slater
Danny Paul Slater, age 59, of Polo, MO, passed away on Feb. 25, 2018, in Liberty. He was born on Sept. 29, 1958, in Ohio to Irene Schlicher and was raised in Texas.
Danny married Betty Payton of Nevada, Missouri, on May 17, 2003.
He was a professional truck driver and retired in 2005.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother; a sister, Bonnie Slater; and a stepson, Douglas Lynn Payton.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Leslie E. Slater of Houston, TX and Jessica Marie Slater of Willis, TX; a brother, Rocky Slater of Victoria, TX; and two grandsons, Donald and Dregan.
A visitation and celebration service will be held at Richmond Assembly of God, 303 S. College, Richmond, MO, on Saturday, March 3. A visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. The family requests no flowers.
