Darrell Dayne Still

Darrell Dayne Still, age 84, a resident of Braymer, MO, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe.

Darrell was born the son of Raymond Yates and Lillie Mae (Mallory) Still on July 14, 1932, in Hardin. He served in the US Army from 1952 until 1960. He was united in marriage to Barbara F. (McBee) Still on July 14, 1957, at the Black Oak Church in Braymer. She survives of the home.

Darrell worked as a self-employed dozer operator and farmer. He was a member of the Church of the Brethern. He was a past member of the Tweedie-Murray American Legion Post #117, and the Braymer C-4 School Board. He was also a member of the Braymer Tractor Pullers.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Still, of the home; one son, Mike Still (Michele) of Braymer; one daughter, Jeanna Suchsland (James) of Braymer; six grandchildren, Mandi Gault, Jason Kelly, Ryan Still, Jenni Still, Kevin Still, and Kegan Kelly; two great-grandchildren, Christian Still and Bradley Still; one brother, Dennis Still of Mendon; and one sister, Judy Tyson (Bob) of Independence.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Farrell W. Still; brother, Raymond C. Still; and one sister, Lavona Jean Baugher.

Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the funeral home in Braymer on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Friends may call at the funeral home on April 8, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer. Memorial contributions may be made to Ray County Home Health or The Gardens at Hedrick Medical Center, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
