Donald Ross Breeze

Donald Ross Breeze, age 90, of Hamilton, MO, passed away at his home on Sept. 7, 2015. He had lived in Hamilton the last 29 years, moving there from Lathrop.

Donald was born on Aug. 25, 1925, in Sampsel, to James M. and Rose A. Lawson Breeze. He was a 1943 graduate of the Lock Springs High School. Donald served our country in the Army during World War II, serving from 1943-1946.

Donald had worked for 12 years for the Rock Island Railroad, and then he worked for 33 years in Kansas City for KW Dart in the shipping and handling division.

Donald was a member of the Lock Springs Protestant Church, the Local Union #710 in Kansas City, and the Jefferson City American Legion Post #1000.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Junior and Wayne; half-brother, Larry; and stepmother, Naomi.

Donald married his wife, Eulonda Fern Daniel, in May of 1946 in Troy, KS. They celebrated 69 years together, and she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include his children, Rose (Lon) Campbell of Versailles, Ross (Vickey) Breeze of Lathrop, Donna (Lanny) Mullikin of Holt, Lana Day of Gladstone, and Joyce Davis of Red Oak, TX; sister, Betty Plunk of Houston, TX; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and great great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Donald has been cremated under the direction of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. A private family inurnment service will be held at a later date at the Lock Springs Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.bramfuneralservices.com.
