Faye (Donna) Adams

Faye Donna Adams, age 100, of Hamilton, MO, passed away at her home in Hamilton on June 22, 2017.

Donna was born on Nov. 23, 1916, in Chicago, IL, to Freel and Vessie (Jones) Waggoner. She graduated from the Kingston high school in 1934, and then went on to graduate from Park College (now Park University). She was a teacher in Grain Valley, where she coached a championship girl’s basketball team, and then taught for numerous years for the Hamilton R-II school district as a Jr. High English teacher.

Donna was active in the Hamilton community and was a member of the Federated Church, the PEO sisterhood-Chapter N of Hamilton, the Monday Club, and Order of the Eastern Star.

Donna was married to Robert Frazier Adams, and he preceded her in death in 1989. She was also preceded by her parents.

Survivors include her son Bobby (Peggy) Adams of Hamilton; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, at the Hamilton Federated Church. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the church. Friends may call after noon on Monday at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hamilton Federated Church or Cameron Comfort Care Hospice.
