Frank Donald Fish

Frank Donald Fish age 91, of Cowgill, passed away at his home on Dec. 20, 2022.  Frank lived in Cowgill for the past 26 years and previously lived in Silverton, Oregon, and Spreckels, CA.

Frank was born on Dec. 4, 1931, in Cloverdale, CA, to Ralph H. and Lila Fender Fish.  He graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA, with a B.S. in Agriculture Chemistry.  Frank also honorably served his country in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  He worked as a chemist for Smuckers Jams and Jellies in Spreckels, CA. 

Frank was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Cameron., and in the past he was a HAM radio operator for quite some time.  He was an avid stained glass window maker for many years and he restored windows in many churches and buildings in Caldwell County. Frank was also a great farmer.

On Aug. 3, 1952, he married Geraldine (Deannie) Nystrom in Carson City, Nevada.  They were married for 69 years before she passed last year.  He was also preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter-Valerie Fish, and 4 brothers-Howard, Dan, Jerry and Lyn.

Survivors:  Children-Cynthia Fish, Cameron; Jenny (Ron) Doan, Hamilton; Tom (Wendy) Fish, Kearney; Melissa (Jason) Staley, Mount Madonna, CA; Amy Hawk, Cowgill; and Nathan (Jenny) Fish, Cameron; 1 brother-Richard Fish, California; 32 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Cameron, MO.

Interment is located at  The Kidder Cemetery in Kidder.

Arrangements under the direction of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
