Gloria Jean Leamer

Gloria Jean Leamer, age 69, a resident of Braymer, MO, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City.

Gloria was born the daughter of Charles and Jean (Charlton) Seek on June 3, 1951, in Lexington. She was a 1969 graduate of Richmond High School. She was united in marriage to Wayne Leamer on Dec. 19, 1968, in Richmond. He survives of the home.

Gloria was a member of the Braymer Christian Church in Braymer. She was also a member of the Delta Chi Sorority of Braymer. Gloria enjoyed traveling and going to the beach, shopping, cooking, and fishing. She loved her family and being a grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Leamer of the home; one son, Joseph Leamer and significant other, Karen Malott of Lawson; two daughters, Jennifer Mallory (Joseph) of Braymer and Christy Thomson (Tom) of Bristol, IL; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Patty Jones (David) of Ft. Meyers, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tracy Leamer; one grandson, Aaron Leamer; and one sister, Carolyn Goers.

Graveside services will be held at the Prairie Ridge Cemetery west of Polo on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at 2:30 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer on Sunday, Dec. 6, from noon until 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Prairie Ridge Cemetery and/or the Braymer Booster Club, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.
