Homer G. Quinn, Sr.

Homer G. Quinn, Sr., age 98, of Lawson, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at his residence.

He was born on April 19, 1917, in Morgan County to Ernest and Dora (Hodge) Quinn. He was a World War II Veteran and a member of the Teamsters Union Local 955. He was a truck driver.

Homer was preceded in death by his parents; a son; and four siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Frances Quinn, of the home; two daughters, Judy (Albert) Skinner of Kingston, Debbie (Earl) McCaskey of Lawson; one son, Homer (Donna) Quinn, Jr. of Sunrise Beach; his sister, Lavada Stidam of Texas; eight grandchildren; several great and great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside farewell service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Prairie Ridge Cemetery near Polo. An online guestbook and obituary can be accessed at www.baileycox.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Cox Funeral Home in Polo.
