James (Jim) Edward Ragle

James (Jim) Edward Ragle, age 81, of Hamilton, MO, passed away on May 1, 2020, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center in Cameron. Jim moved to Hamilton in 1974 from Gladstone.

Jim was born on May 27, 1938, in Kansas City, KS, to Roy H. and Annie (Green) Ragle. He graduated from the North Kansas City High School and then attended a technical school in Chicago, IL. He worked for and retired from TWA in Kansas City in June of 1995.

Jim was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hamilton. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, a motorcycle club, and the Holiday Ramblers Camping Club. His hobbies included woodworking, researching genealogy, and he enjoyed history and watching westerns on television. 

He married Frances Helen Beach on May 19, 1962. She preceded him in death in 1998. He was also preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Roy H. (Junior) Ragle.

On June 16, 2001, he married Rebecca Fainter. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include his children, Roy Ragle of Lompoc, CA, Tim Ragle of Victorville, CA, Bill Ragle of Hamilton, Jerry Ragle of Cowgill, Johnny Ragle of Hamilton, and Crystal Ragle of Cameron; three stepchildren, David McFarland of Littleton, NH, Delta Asbury of Kentucky, and Michael McFarland of Cameron; 30 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and cousins. 

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, May 8, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hamilton. A visitation/rosary will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 7, with the rosary starting at 7:00 p.m., at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton. Arrangements are under the direction of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
