James Robert “Bob” Teegarden

James Robert “Bob” Teegarden, age 81, a resident of Braymer, MO, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at his residence.

Bob was born the son of Newton and Lucille (Slater) Teegarden on Feb. 18, 1937, in Polo. He was a 1955 graduate of Braymer High School. Bob worked as a Youth Specialist for the University of Missouri Extension in Gallatin for over 30 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Braymer. Bob loved farming and raising cattle.

Survivors include two cousins, Sue Riegel of Holt and Richard Crist of Cowgill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ in Braymer on Monday, Feb. 11, at 11:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer on Sunday, Feb. 10, from noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Braymer Church of Christ, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P. O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
