Jean Frances Leedom

Jean Frances Leedom, age 91, of Hamilton, passed away on June 14, 2019, at the Redwood of Cameron, MO. Jean lived in Caldwell County all of her life.

Jean was born on May 18, 1928, in Caldwell County, to DeLoyd and Eva (Lake) Brown. She graduated from the New York High School, southeast of Hamilton in 1946. She was employed as a saleswoman for Miller Ford in Hamilton, and she was also a Stanley products dealer.

She attended the Open Bible Church in Hamilton, and was a member of the Hamilton Saddle Club and the Fox Trot Association.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephen Michael “Mike” Leedom; brother, Jim Brown; her long-time companion, George Blades; and nephew, Gary Cox.

Survivors include a niece; a nephew; numerous great nieces and great nephews; a great many good friends; and her care-givers.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends may call on Friday, June 21, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton, after the services. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Highland Cemetery in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Highland Cemetery or Three Rivers Hospice in Cameron, in care of the funeral home.
