Jerry L. Snapp

Jerry L. Snapp, age 98, of Cameron, MO, passed away on Sept. 28, 2021, at the Quail Run Care Center in Cameron. He previously lived in Hamilton, Richmond, and Independence.  

Jerry was born on Dec. 17, 1922, in Kansas City, to Homer W. and Ada M. (Due) Snapp. Jerry honorably served his country in the Army during World War II, serving in 1943. He married Rosie May Banks on Jan. 9, 1951, in Kansas City, KS. He worked for Mosler Safe Co.  

Jerry was a member of the Hamilton American Legion Post #285, Hamilton, and he and his brother were also past members of the VFW in Richmond. He was a handyman and enjoyed repairing bicycles in his spare time.  

Preceding Jerry in death were his parents; his wife, Rosie; two sons, Dennis and Perry Snapp; and his brother Kenneth.  

Survivors include his son, Jeff Snapp (Elizabeth Bell) of Kidder; three grandchildren, Angie Snapp (Greg Hilliar), Daniel Snapp, and Jayme (Tye) Russell; and three great-grandchildren, Layne Russell, Gregory Hilliar and Jaymes Russell.  

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
