Jerry Lynn Johnson

Jerry Lynn Johnson, age 65, a resident of Braymer, MO, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at his residence.

Jerry was born the son of Walter Lyle and Betty (Stratton) Johnson on May 9, 1953, in Braymer. He was united in marriage to Brenda Johnson. Jerry worked as a lineman for Milwaukee and Union Pacific Railroad for over 20 years. He was a member of the Braymer Christian Church in Braymer.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Johnson of Orrick; one son, Jeremiah Johnson of Kansas City; two daughters, Lacey Lynn Daughtery of Brookfield and Emmalee Johnson of Warrensburg; seven grandchildren; his mother, Betty Johnson of Braymer; one brother, Tommy Johnson of Braymer; and two sisters, Sandy Oyler and Joyce Null, both of Braymer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Johnson, and one sister, Terri Johnson.

A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer on Saturday, June 2, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, June 2 from noon until 3:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jerry Lynn Johnson Memorial Fund and/or the Braymer Lions Club, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
