Jim Fry

Jim Fry, age 56, of Kingston, MO, passed away Wednesday morning, Oct.9, 2019, at his home. Jim was born on April 27, 1963, the son of Virginia (Sackman) Fry at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. He was a 1981 graduate of Polo High School.

Jim worked as a laborer for most of his life. He was employed at the Kingston Tire Shop, Walmart, and he farmed for people in the community. Jim was a member of the Kingston Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, gardening, nature and being outside.

Mr. Fry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Mabel Sackman and John and Hazel Yoxall; aunt, Joyce Mayberry; and brother-in-law, Greg Misel.

Survivors include his mother, Virginia Fry of Kingston; two brothers, Brian (Angie) Fry and Daniel (Denise) Fry, both of Braymer; three sisters, Debby Misel, Julie (Rick Reeves) Phillips, and Jennifer (Jeff) Ritter, all of Polo; nieces and nephews, Brian (Kylie) Fry, Madison (Taylor) Misel, Kadee (Matt) Phillips, Dylan (Tabitha) Fry, Mason Misel, Zackery Phillips, Disney (Danny) Fry, Josie Misel, Jade Misel, Lexi Ritter, and Lukas Ritter; great nieces and nephews; two aunts, Marti (Brian) Daily of Hamilton and Janis Sackman of Kansas City; uncle, Don Mayberry of Basehor, KS; and several cousins and other extended family members.

Arrangements are entrusted to Stith Family Funeral Home in Polo. Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Kingston Cemetery in Kingston.
