Kandi Kae (Hales) Railsback age 66, Hamilton, passed away at her home on Jan. 14, 2024. Kandi lived in Hamilton, all of her life.
Kandi was born on March 31, 1957, in Kansas City, to Dean and Dixie (Connor) Hales. She was raised in Hamilton and graduated from the Penney High School, Hamilton, in 1975. She worked as an investment broker and was the CFO of Railsback Farms.
Kandi was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hamilton, and was also very involved with the church Altar Society. She was a member of the Young Farmers, Hamilton Community Alliance and the Hamilton Booster Club. Kandi's real passion was watching and following all football, and she was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Her family and grandchildren will miss her very much.
Preceding Kandi in death were her parents, and two nephews-Paul Railsback and Jeremy Burdick.
On Jan. 25, 1976, she married Randy Railsback at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hamilton. Randy survives of the home.
Additional survivors include her children-Craig (Scarlett) Railsback, Hamilton; Will (Amanda) Railsback, Hamilton; and Taylor (Phil) Santell, Chicago, IL; grandchildren-Sydney, Tate, Stockton, McKayla, Kadence and Tatum; one great-grandchild-Liam; siblings-Kim (Ron) Spidle, Altamont; Kathy (Barry) Mathia, Lawson; Karol (Peter) Kleine, Blue Springs; Kenney (Kari) Hales, Kearney; and Kory (Tiffany) Hales, Blue Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m., Sat., Jan. 20, 2024, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hamilton.
Visitation was held from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Fri., Jan. 19, at the Hamilton Methodist Church Family Life Center.
Burial at a later date at Highland Cemetery, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Caldwell County Foundation Cancer Assistance Fund.
