Larry Edwin Gough
Larry Edwin Gough, age 70, of Kidder, MO, passed away on Sept. 11, 2016, at the North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City. Larry had lived in Kidder since 1973.
Larry was born on Sept. 30, 1945, in Kansas City, to Lester and May Smith Gough. He graduated from the Lee’s Summit High School in Lee’s Summit in 1963. He was retired from Hallmark Cards.
Larry was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the American Bowling Congress and was an avid bowler. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wanda Bullington; and daughter, Melissa Gough.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of the home; daughter, Stephanie (Mark) Closterman of Gallatin; sister, Mildred (Wayne) Williamson of El Dorado Springs; two granddaughters, Brooke Edwards and Rachel Gough; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Kidder Baptist Church in Kidder. A visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Interment will be at Kidder Cemetery in Kidder. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidder Baptist Church in Larry’s memory. Arrangements are under the direction of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
