Larry Walter Coshow

Larry Walter Coshow, age 77, a resident of Braymer, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the North Care Hospice House, North Kansas City.

Larry was born the son of Walter and Ada (Swaithes) Coshow on March 6, 1945, in Kingston. He was a 1963 graduate of Polo High School. After high school, he was employed by Hallmark Cards, and he married Shirley Berry. To this union one daughter was born, Kimberly Sue Lowry. On March 25, 1978, he married Arlene Peirce-Wiedmier. She survives of the home. Larry was a member of the Eagles Lodge, the Elks Lodge, the Masonic Lodge AF and AM #15 and was an active Shriner when he lived in Casper, Wyoming. He and his wife opened an insurance business, The Coshow Agency, in 1978, in Casper, WY.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene; daughter, Kim of Cameron; two stepsons; Stephen Wiedmier and wife, Sandy, of Braymer, and David Wiedmier of Hamilton, two step daughters, Susan Wiedmier-Bridges and husband, Jim, of Kansas City, and Debbie Clevenger and husband, Joe, of Hamilton, a grandson, Tyler Grann of Casper, WY, several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren;  one brother, Lowell Coshow and wife, Patty, of NE;  three sisters, Ruby Allen of OR, Beulah Rice of Norborne, and Laurel “Shorty” Miller and husband, Donnie, of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Robert Coshow, Norman Keeney, Bill Keeney and Lloyd Keeney.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer, with a visitation following until 4:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer, at a later date.
