Linnie Mae Murray
Linnie Mae Murray, age 90, was a resident of Golden Age Nursing Home in Braymer, MO, at the time of her death. Prior to the nursing home, she was a lifelong resident of Polo. She passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at Liberty Hospital, with her daughter Patsy Murray at her side. She was born Sept. 11, 1925, in Taitsville, to William and Edna (West) Berry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edna Berry; her husband, Mason Murray; daughter, Peggy Darlene and grandson Michael Allen Bailey; her sisters, Betty Sackman and Geneva Carr; and brothers, Chris Berry and Simon Berry.
Linnie is survived by her daughters, Linda Gregory of Polo, Patsy Murray of Platte City, and Judy Murray of Liberty. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jason Bailey of Kansas City, Jennifer White and Jessica Bailey of Chico, CA, Mindy Andre of Platte City, Renee McNeil of Las Vegas, and Debbie McDaniel of Higginsville; 12 great-grandchildren, Alec Bailey, Kendra McNeil, Noah Thalken, Lily White, Hayat White, Hayden White, Austin Andre, Matalin Andre, Silas Andre, Josh Dehn, Jordan Dehn, and Rachel Dehn, and one great great-grandson, Carson Dehn.
To our Dear Moma: You are home now with our heavenly Father and can celebrate with all your loved ones and friends that are waiting for you as you enter the gates of Heaven. We will miss and love you every day until we leave our temporary home here on earth and join you in Heaven. You will forever be in our hearts and all the hearts of your loved ones left behind.
Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Stith Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Polo. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
