Lois Ilene McGinnis

Lois Ilene McGinnis, age 86, of Cameron, MO, passed away on Feb. 20, 2017.

Lois was born on April 2, 1930, in Hawarden, IA, to Lloyd and Vivian (Cooper) Millikan.

She was a graduate of Gallatin High School and worked over 25 years for Cameron Insurance Company before retiring.

Lois was a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church and Business Women’s Profession.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Millikan, and sister, Carol Millikan.

Survivors include her children, Stephen McGinnis of Cameron, Rick (Chris) McGinnis of St. Joseph, Kelly McGinnis of Sumner, IL, Randy (Cindy) McGinnis of Platte City, and Monty McGinnis of Benton City, WA; daughter, Kristi Seifert of Cameron; two brothers, Bob (Hope) Millikan of Lexington, NE and Glenn (Nancy) Millikan of Hamilton; sister, Marcy (James) Garner of Cameron; eight grandchildren, Brendan, Patrick, Blake, Brent, Phillip, Katelin, Ryan and Kyle; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home in Cameron. A visitation will be held from 1-3:00 p.m., prior to the service.
