Loren L. Foxworthy

Loren Lovell “Foxy” Foxworthy, age 90, of Cameron, MO, passed away on March 12, 2016. Loren was born on Feb. 10, 1926, in Weatherby, to Clarence and Orpha (Shaw) Foxworthy.

Loren was a member of the Kidder United Methodist Church. He was an agent and board member of Caldwell County Mutual Insurance.

On Nov. 24, 1945, Loren married Christine Allen in Troy, KS.

Loren was preceded in death by his parents; like a son, Jerry Temple; and three brothers, Marion, Mervin and Harold Foxworthy.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Christine Foxworthy, of the home; two daughters, Chris (Joe) Biggerstaff of Kidder and Cheryl (Dan) Colt of Trimble; daughter-in-law, Sally Temple of Kidder; sister, Dorothy Rasco of St. Joseph; three grandchildren, Lauren Hottel, Corbin Hottel and Maggie Biggerstaff; and three great-grandchilren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home in Cameron. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cameron Memory Gardens in Cameron. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidder United Methodist Church in Kidder. Online condolences may be left at www.polandthompson.com.
