Mary Margaret Clevenger

Mary Margaret Clevenger, age 83, a resident of Braymer, MO, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at her residence.

Mary was born the daughter of Roger and Edith (Dunn) Eads on July 20, 1932, in Jamesport. She was a 1950 graduate of Jamesport High School in Jamesport, where she graduated as Valedictorian of her class. Mary was united in marriage to Donald Bart Clevenger on Nov. 2, 1952, in Jamesport. He survives of the home. Mary worked as Vice-President of the Pony Express Bank for 61 years. She was a member of the Braymer United Methodist Church and the Tweedie-Murray Post 117 Auxiliary of Braymer.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Clevenger, of the home; one son, Denny Clevenger of Braymer; one daughter, Dana Gardner of Braymer, four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Braymer on Wednesday, Oct. 21. A scheduled family visitation was held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer on Tuesday, Oct. 20. Burial was at the Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Braymer United Methodist Church, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
