Matthew Gene Olson

Matthew Gene Olson, age 43, a resident of Dawn, MO, passed away at his residence on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018.

Matthew was born the son of Eugene Olson and Ladeane Peterson on Jan. 11, 1975, in Winona, MN. He was a 1993 graduate of Braymer C-4 High School. On June 30, 2018, he married the love of his life, Tabitha Turrerrow, in Rolla. Matthew loved working on the farm and being able to fix anything that broke. He collected tractors, all of which were International Harvester. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with all of them as a husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Tabitha, of the home; sons, Daniel Olson (Samantha), Jacob Olson, and Isaac Tutterrow, all of Dawn; one daughter, Sarah Olson of Braymer; two sisters, Amy Olson of Wisconsin and Heather Mansour (Adel) of the United Arab Emirates; and one granddaughter, Jessica Olson of Dawn.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gene, and one brother, Jesse Peterson of Rochester, MN.

Funeral services will be held at the Enon Baptist Church in Dawn, on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Enon Cemetery in Dawn.
