Melissa Dawn Cramer

Melissa Dawn Cramer was born Oct. 18, 1999, in St. Joseph, MO, to Karen (Whitmer) Crago and Christopher Cramer. Melissa passed away Jan. 1, 2019. She spent the first 12 years of her life in Hamilton, and graduated from Princeton High School in Princeton in May 2018. 

Lissa (Mel) loved her family, friends, animals, singing and writing. She was a student of Missouri State University in Springfield for the 2018 fall semester and was transferring to NCMC in Trenton to continue her education. 

Lissa is survived by her parents, Karen and Erick Crago of Columbia, MO; Chris Cramer and fiancé Julie McMahan of Chillicothe; her siblings, Ashley Cramer (Aaron Carrara) of Springfield, Rhowen Montgomery (Ashley) of Springfield, Connor Cramer of Corvallis, OR, and Nate Crago of Columbia. She is also survived by her grandparents, Gary and Sue Whitmer of Hamilton and Donna Cramer of St. Louis, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends. 

Donations in honor of Lissa can be given to Green Hills Animal Shelter in Trenton or the Animal Alliance Rescue/Shelter of Mount Ayr, IA.
