Patsy Dean Baker

Patsy Dean Baker age 82, of Kansas City, passed away on Feb. 4, 2022, at the Northcare Hospice in the North Kansas City Hospital.  Patsy lived in a number of places, but she would spend the summer in Branson, with her husband and they would return to their home in Kansas City in the winters.  

Patsy was born on Oct. 31, 1939, in Hamilton, to Howard and Marion (James) McCauley.  She graduated from the Wyandotte High School in Kansas City, KS, in 1957.  She started her career in banking as a bookkeeper at the Home State Bank in Kansas City, KS, but retired from Bank of America in Kansas City.  

She and her husband greatly enjoyed traveling and they traveled with a RV Club, and they enjoyed fishing, bow hunting for turkey and deer, and she enjoyed competing in archery tournaments. She was preceded in death by her parents and other relatives.

On September 10, 1960, she married Charles Wayne Baker at the Methodist Church in Kansas City, KS.  He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; nieces and nephews-Kenny and Donna Baker of Hardin; Denver and Sherri Horton of Richmond; Dan and Jenny Damitz of Camdenton; and Andy and Trudi Suha of Richmond.  

A graveside service will be held at a future date at the Highland Cemetery in Hamilton.

Memorials:  The American Cancer Society.  

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
