Reta May Esteb Graf

Reta May Esteb Graf, age 84, of Hamilton, MO, passed away on Nov. 14, 2020, at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Hamilton. 

Reta was born on Aug. 18, 1936, in Kingston, to Harold Francis and Leah Bernice (Hall) Esteb. She graduated from the Polo high school in 1954. After graduation, she moved to Kansas City and worked for Hallmark. Later she began working at the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City, working in many departments there before retiring after 34 years of service. She moved back to Hamilton in 2013.

Reta was a long time member of the Barry Christian Church in Kansas City. She was a very talented seamstress and made her own tailored clothes. She was also a member of the Unicorns Square Dance Club in Kansas City, and made her own square dance dresses. She was very social and loved to visit with family and friends and attend get-togethers with others.

Reta was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors to mourn her passing are her daughter, Annette Hignight of Hamilton; brother, Jim (Ann) Esteb of Duncanville, TX; niece, Jill (Jack) Noble of Frisco, TX; nephew, Greg (Jessica) Esteb, and their daughter, Miette Esteb of Dallas, TX; and many local friends, family and cousins.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. Inurnment and a remembrance service will be planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kingston Cemetery in care of Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton.
