Rick Douglas Gardner

Rick Douglas Gardner, age 59, a resident of Braymer, MO, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2020, at his residence.

Rick was born the son of William and Theresa (Ford) Gardner on April 21, 1961, in Bakersfield, CA. He was united in marriage to Dana Clevenger on March 12, 2014, in Chillicothe. She survives of the home. He was a mason worker for many years.

Rick was a member of the Braymer Methodist Church in Braymer. He attended the Breckenridge Baptist Church in Breckenridge. Rick enjoyed riding motorcycles hunting, and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Dana Gardner of the home; his mother, Theresa Gardner of Wheeling; one son, Ricky Jorgensen of Lawson; two daughters, Melissa Gardner of Braymer and Kendra Barnard of Braymer; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Michael Gardner of Chillicothe and William Gardner, Jr. of Wheeling; one sister, Trina Gardner and John Hughes of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at noon until 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rick Gardner Memorial Fund, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
