Robert "Bob" Creekmore

Robert “Bob” Creekmore, age 78, born on Sept. 30, 1937, to Joe and Novena Creekmore in Breckenridge, MO, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2016, in the early morning hours at LaVerna Village Care Center in Savannah, with his daughter and sons at his bedside.

On Dec. 7, 1958, he married Beverly Ann New, and together they had four children. On Feb. 1, 1993, Bob retired from the General Motors Assembly in Fairfax, KS, after 31-1/2 years of service. He was a member of the UAW.

He was fortunate to retire at the young age of 55, when be bought a travel trailer and was able to see most of the United States with his wife Beverly and beloved dog “Puff.” In 2004 they decided to move back to Missouri and chose to make their home in St. Joseph.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nona Alford; brother, Donald Creekmore; and son, Larry Schneiter.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly; daughter, Pamela Hollars; sons, Robert and Ronald Creekmore; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 28, at Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. A visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment was at McCrary Cemetery in Gallatin. Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospitals. Online condolences may be left at www.bramfuneralservices.com.
