Roger Lee Goll

Roger Lee Goll, age 85, a resident of Breckenridge, MO, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Roger was born the son of Russell Irvin and Clastine Marie (Culling) Goll on Nov. 16, 1929, in Braymer. He was united in marriage to Naomi Ruth Goll on June 25, 1952, at Calvary Baptist Church in Chillicothe. To that union, two children were born. Roger was a former member of the Breckenridge Baptist Church. He was a member of the Seniors in Agriculture and the Braymer VFW. He loved farming, working with his cattle, traveling, and even pulling his camper. He also enjoyed going to Branson for the Veterans celebration.

Survivors include his son, Gerald Goll of Excelsior Springs; daughter, Ellen Kay Goll of Kansas City; two brothers, Dale and Billy Goll, both of Braymer; two sisters, Nadine Kelly of Braymer and Ruby Hatfield of Liberty; grandson, Josh Goll and great-grandson, Silas Goll.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Naomi Goll; two infant brothers, Larry and Dean Goll; brother, Raymond Goll; and sister, Helen Goll.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. at the Braymer Christian Church in Braymer. A family visitation will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer. Burial will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Breckenridge.
