Roger Von Hicks

Roger Von Hicks, age 63, a resident of Richmond, MO, formerly of Nevada, passed away on June 20, 2018, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehab Center in Richmond.

He was the firstborn son of Von Keith and Earline (Hess) Hicks, born Dec. 31, 1954, in Springfield. He attended school in Preston and was a 1972 graduate of Braymer C-4 High School. He attended NWMSU. 

He was a avid fan of the KC Chiefs, KC Royals, MU Tigers, NWMSU Bearcats, and high school sports, especially the Braymer Bobcats. He enjoyed rock music, sports of all kinds, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Rossie and Blanche Hicks and Taylor and Louise Hess, and a niece.

He is survived by his brothers, Ross and Darren Hicks, both of Cowgill and Brian Hicks of Braymer, and several nieces and nephews.

A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home in Braymer on Thursday, June 28, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from noon until 8:00 p.m. Private family services and inurnment will be held at a later date.
