Sidney Gene Yuille

Sidney Gene Yuille, age 76, a resident of Kearney, MO, a former resident of Braymer, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, at his residence.

Sidney was born the son of Gene Brown and Wanda Lee (Floyd) Yuille on Aug. 1, 1944, in Braymer. He was a 1962 graduate of Braymer High School. He was united in marriage to Betty Sue Anderson on Nov. 24, 1963 in Braymer. She survives of the home.

Sidney worked as a Jockey at Waterford Park in Chester, West Virginia from 1964 until 1981. He then worked as a painter for Aartech Investments until his retirement in 2006. Sidney was a member of the Braymer Christian Church in Braymer.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Yuille of the home; three daughters, Kathy Carlyle (Rick) of Holt, Kristy Ritz (Robert) of Kearney, and Kelly Yuille of Kearney; five grandchildren, Sydney Milum (Luke), Dylan and Connor Ritz, and Courtney and Carter Prewitt; one brother, Jim Yuille (Penny) of Braymer; and one sister-in-law, Pat Yuille of Belton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Eddie “Ed” Lee Yuille; two nephews, Daniel Warren Yuille and Douglas Ward Yuille; and one niece, Jamie Saul.

A private family graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Hospital Home Health and Hospice, and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P. O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
