Thelma Rich of Hamilton passed away July 4th

Thelma Rich, age 56, of Hamilton, MO, passed away on July 4, 2015, at Liberty Hospital. Thelma was born the daughter of Bettina and Edward Davis on Jan. 21, 1959 in Port Jervis, NY.

She had worked as an employee of Wal-Mart for ten years and then at Orchelns in Cameron. She was of the Methodist faith. Thelma loved to fish and hunt and take care of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Davis, and her second husband, Jerry Rich.

Survivors include her mother, Bettina Davis and grandchildren, Andrew, Braden and Alexander Rich, of the home; daughter, Mary Rich of St. Joseph; son, Brian Rich of Panama City, FL; and two sisters, Florence Sweem of Hamilton and Elizabeth Wells of Panama City, FL.

A memorial service will be held at the Hamilton United Methodist Church on Sunday, July 12, at 3:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
