Thomas Mark Colatrella, Jr.

Thomas Mark Colatrella, Jr., age 32, of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Hamilton and Kingston, passed away on Aug. 11, 2018.

Thomas was born on May 4, 1986, in Vacaville, CA, at the Travis Air Force Base, to Thomas Colatrella, Sr. and Jane Ann (Broyles) Colatrella He graduated from Penney High School in Hamilton in 2004, and then graduated from the Missouri Western State University Regional Police Academy in St. Joseph.

Thomas currently worked in security at Champion National Security in Kansas City. He previously worked for Titan Security, the Ray and Daviess County Sheriff departments, and the Daviess-DeKalb County Jail, conducting transports. He was also a Firearms Instructor for Federal Law Enforcement Services.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and an uncle.

Survivors include his parents, Tom and Jane Colatrella of Hamilton; sister, Victoria Colatrella of Hamilton; grandfather, Nicholas Colatrella and uncle, Ricky Colatrella, both of Pennsylvania; two nephews; one niece; and a cousin.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. www.bramfuneralservices.com.
