William “Bill” Pierce

William “Bill” Pierce, of Bethany, MO, passed away on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, at Crestview Home in Bethany. Bill was born on Jan. 10, 1950, in Kansas City to the late William Harold Pierce and Elizabeth Ann (Barron) Pierce. He graduated from Penney High School in Hamilton.

Bill worked as a school bus driver for South Harrison School District in Bethany. On Feb. 23, 1979, he was united in marriage to Teresa (Harrison) Pierce in Martinsville. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two brothers, Merle (Barb) Pierce of Maryville and Kenny Pierce of Altamont; and sister, Anita (Rick) Jackson of Independence.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bethany Memorial Chapel in Bethany. A visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the chapel. Memorials are suggested to Friends of the Bethany Public Library in care of Bethany Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 341, Bethany, MO 64424.
