A Year in Review by Dan Landi
Fellow Americans,
January 20, 2021 marks one year since Joe Biden was inaugurated as president. Although I did not vote for him, I wish I could report that he was doing a fine job for America. Sadly, that is not the case.
The economy is in shambles. Inflation today is comparable to the inflation of the 1970s with no end in sight. The jobless rate and energy costs are rising as the U.S. dollar loses value and store shelves become bare. Since Biden paid people not to work, they aren’t. That’s causing an interruption in the production and shipment of goods throughout the country. Global trust in America’s financial stability is waning. According to www.usdebtclock.org, our national debt is at an all-time high of over $28 trillion and Biden wants to spend trillions more!
Our southern border is wide open. Remember, one of Biden’s top priorities was to stop construction of Trump’s border wall. As a result, 1.7 million illegal aliens were arrested by border patrol officers in fiscal year 2021, according to a New York Post (www.nypost.com) article titled, “Border arrests have soared to all-time high, new CBP data shows.” The real question is how many illegals made it into America undetected! How many had the Chinese virus? How many were terrorists and criminals? How many were women and children who were sold as sex slaves? How many tons of illegal drugs have crossed the border? To add insult to injury, Biden continues to buss and fly these illegal aliens to cities across the country in the dead of night at taxpayer expense!
Our national security is in jeopardy. Thanks to Biden’s military debacle in Afghanistan, the terrorists are well-armed and more dangerous than ever. What’s worse, we aren’t in the region to keep a deterrent eye on China and Russia. Like a shark smells blood in the water, our enemies smell weakness in our will to fight. That may be why Russia is advancing on Ukraine and why China is threatening Taiwan. Furthermore, since their economies are also frail, they may decide that going to war will improve their economies. After all, history is full of examples. With an impending Trump victory in 2024, they may act sooner rather than later.
We are living in dangerous times. Our allies don’t trust us and our enemies don’t fear us. The world is watching a nation in decline, thanks to Joe “Where Am I” Biden and the Democrats. Please do your own homework and learn the truth for yourself. Pray for our country, our leaders, and our military. May God bless you, President Trump, and the United States of America!
