Regular Session
The Braymer C4 School District held its regular monthly meeting on July 13, 2015, in Room 207 of the High School. President Larry Shoe and Board Secretary Vickie Davidson were present. Board members also present included Charles Bills, Rachel Hunt and Mindy Tuck (7:05). Also present was Superintendent Don Regan.
President Larry Shoe called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.
Vickie Davidson made a motion to approve the agenda. Charles Bills seconded the motion and a vote of 4 was taken.
Charles Bills made a motion to approve the consent agenda. Vickie Davidson seconded the motion and a vote of 4 was taken.
There was no Old Business.
Under New Business, Vickie Davidson made a motion to hold the District’s tax rate hearing on Monday, August 10th at 7:00 p.m. Charles Bills seconded the motion and a vote of 4 was taken.
Rachel Hunt made a motion to adopt the following regulation and policies: Policy 3155, Policy 4831, Regulation 1520 and Policy and Regulation 3440. Charles Bills seconded the motion and a vote of 5 was taken.
The Board discussed the back-to-school picnic for the staff.
Vickie Davidson made a motion to set the next meeting for August 10, 2015 at 7:05 p.m. Rachel Hunt seconded the motion and a vote of 7 was taken.
There were no closed session items.
Rachel Hunt made a motion for a closed session at the July meeting. Vickie Davidson seconded the motion and a vote of 5 was taken.
Vickie Davidson made a motion to go into Closed Session to hire personnel (610.021.3). Members voting Yes were Charles Bills, Vickie Davidson, Rachel Hunt, Larry Shoe and Mindy Tuck. Members voting NO: none.
CLOSED SESSION
Rachel Hunt made a motion to return to Open Session. Members voting Yes were Charles Bills, Vickie Davidson, Rachel Hunt, Larry Shoe and Mindy Tuck. Members voting NO: none.
Vickie Davidson made a motion for a closed session for the August meeting. Rachel Hunt seconded the motion and a vote of 5 was taken.
At 7:18 p.m., Vickie Davidson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Rachel Hunt seconded the motion and a vote of 5 was taken.
