Braymer School Board discusses chrome book computers for students

The Braymer C-4 School District held its regular monthly meeting on Oct. 12. President Larry Shoe and Board Secretary Vickie Davidson were present. Board members also present included Charles Bills, Jenny Bonham, Kristi Moore, Mindy Tuck and Rachel Hunt. Also present were elementary principal Lyndsey Hall, secondary principal Mitch Barnes and superintendent Don Regan.

The board voted to approve the agenda and the consent agenda.

Under new business, the board reviewed administrative reports and discussed district plans to begin an initiative to provide each student with a chrome book computer. The plan will phase in over a three to four year period.

The board accepted the District Assessment Plan, the District Professional Development Plan and to adopt revised policies.

The board voted to accept Phil Clevenger's snow removal bid.

The next meeting will be Nov. 9 at 7 p.m.

The board went into closed session to discuss hiring employees (610.021.3 and a personnel performance review (610.021.13).
