Hornets prepare for a victory.

Hornets sting South Harrison 75-0

"A dream is just a dream. A goal is a dream with a plan and a deadline."—Harvey Mackay

"A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals."—Larry Bird

You see this every time a Hamilton player steps onto the football field.  They work hard and they play even harder.  They are one unit, a family.

This past Friday night they played South Harrison.  The game was not in favor of South Harrison.  I do have to give the South Harrison players credit for keeping their heads up and keeping their heads in the game.  Not once did they say a harsh word to each other.

The Hornets scored right off and that set the tone for the night.  It seems every time the Hornets had the ball they scored.

As the night progressed and the score went up, the Varsity went out the JV went in, it was more of the same.  South Harrison just couldn’t move the ball against the Hornets try as they may.  By the end of the 4th quarter some of the 9th graders got some play time also.  This will help the team next year.

At the end of the night the score was 75 to 0. First round of districts is under the belt. The next round is this Friday at home against Putnam County at 7 p.m. Let’s fill those stands and root for those boys in blue! We are on a mission, we need to finish what we started last year!
