Leora Brookshire

Leora (Jackie) Frances (Wright) Brookshire

Leora Frances (Wright) Brookshire was born Nov. 22, 1923 in Braymer. Jackie went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 8, 2024 at the age of 100.

She was proceded in death by her daughter, Carol Jean Welch on March 2, 2016. Two grandchildren Courtney and Kasey Welch and Father Carl Welch, all of Kansas City. 

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Glenn D. Brookshire of Wichita Falls, TX. A sister Fern Green of Norborne, a grandson Keven Welch and wife Kim and their three daughters; Olivia, Sophia and Ella all of St. Louis. Also Glenn’s brother Tony Brookshire and wife Cathy of Wichita Falls, TX. As well as many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Leora was a Class of 1941 graduate from Braymer. 

Funeral services were held Fri., March 15, 2024 at 2 p.m.
